Hello School Community

Welcome to this week's edition of the Edward Fenn Newsletter! In this regular publication you will find the latest happenings and updates from our school community to keep you informed and engaged.

School News and Updates

Winter Program information was sent home yesterday. Since we are dealing with outside organizations, all of the forms and permission slips are being sent home as paper copies to keep the information together. We are asking that all forms be signed and returned by Tuesday, January 13.

You will notice that our Winter Program days have changed this year. The program will take place on the following days:

  • Thursday, January 22, 2026
  • Friday, January 23, 2026
  • Thursday, January 29, 2026
  • Friday, January 30, 2026

Instead of stretching the program out over four weeks, we are doing back to back days in a two week period. This will allow more opportunity for make up dates if we need them. Instead of spending our afternoons participating in the activities, we will be going in the morning. This means that students will need to be at school on time in order to leave for the activities by 8:30.

If your student is in third, fourth or fifth grade and you need financial help for them to participate in a program, please reach out to Mrs. Marsh.

In order to have students participate in the ice skating program, it is helpful for the school to have our own pairs of skates to lend out. If you have ice skates at home that your student has grown out of or you no longer use, we would be happy to take them as a donation. You can send any donated skates in with your student or drop them off at the school office.
